Single CMC size PCI Mezzanine Card (PMC), 32-bit interface
Time & Frequency Solutions’ model PMC-SyncClock32 is a compact PCI Mezzanine Card (PMC) that precisely synchronises the time on VME cards or provide accurate GPS synchronised time to the host motherboard. The 32-bit interface provides time from microseconds through years. The syncclock acts as a time code reader and/or time code generator that is synchronised to an external source of time, such as IRIG A, IRIG B, 1PPS, NASA36 or Have Quick Time Code. Time can also be obtained from an optional on-board GPS receiver.
Time synchronisation can be achieved by simply reading the time registers, using the SYNCCLOCK card to generate periodic interrupts, or latch the time of an external event.
