Regional Sales Manager
Reporting to the Sales Director, UK
We are looking to expand our team with a Regional Sales Manager to complement our capability.
Duties: (to include, but may not be limited to:
- Research, locate, appoint and manage representatives and distributors throughout the designated region including occasional visits to representatives, customers, and exhibitions both in the UK and overseas.
- From receipt of enquiry from either a potential customer or distributor, identify the optimum solution using the Company’s products and prepare quotation or proposal. Follow-up proposal, amending where necessary to reflect any change in technical or commercial circumstances. Provide technical and commercial support to customers and distributors as appropriate.
- Manage the provision of installation, commissioning and training to customers where the need arises.
- Research and identify potential markets and customers for TFS’ products. Make contact with potential customers to identify opportunities for TFS’ products.
- Research potential of TFS’ products into forthcoming projects and liaise with potential bidders and consultants to ensure TFS’ products are designed into project.
- When required, prepare and give technical presentations and training to customers and distributors.
- Undertake site surveys of customer installations when required.
- Provide regular sales forecasts to the Sales Director as required.
- Assist in the smooth and efficient running of the department and the company as a whole.
- Work in accordance with TFS’ Quality Management System to AS9100D/ISO9001.
Experience required:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience working within an Electronics environment. Experience of computer networks desirable.
- Minimum ONC in Electronic Engineering (or equivalent) plus 2 years’ proven experience in a sales related function.
- Computer literacy is essential and knowledge of Word, Excel, and Outlook desirable.
- Must be able to communicate effectively with peers and work as part of a team.
- The successful applicant must be willing to travel both domestically and internationally as necessary.
- The position will be hybrid based with time split between office and home base, to be discussed.
Benefits:
- Salary is very competitive for location, and dependent on experience, plus commission.
- 08:30-16:30, Monday to Friday with flexibility on start time available.
- 23 days’ holiday plus public holidays, rising one day per full year of service to a maximum of 28 days.

Mechanical & PCB Assembly/Rework
Reporting to: Assembly team lead, UK. Part Time or Full Time position considered.
JOB SPECIFICATION
DUTIES
- Plated Through Hole (PTH), Surface Mount PCB assembly.
- Ability to rework PCBA’s to IPC 7711/7721.
- PCBA Inspection as required to IPC-A-610.
- Assembly of cable-forms, wiring, crimping and cable looms.
- Ability to read, interpret and assemble product from BOM’s and drawings as well as manufacturing aids.
- Attention to detail and work effectively to deadlines.
- Be flexible in your approach and be prepared to help with other tasks as necessary.
- Work with other team members to continuously improve quality and processes.
QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE / PERSON SPECIFICATION
- Qualification in electronics and experience working in an electronic manufacturing environment.
- Previous Surface Mount PCB Assembly experience.
- Understanding of mechanical assembly procedures and processes along with appreciation of modern soldering and manufacturing techniques.
- Computer literate, any previous experience using MRP (Material Requirement Planning) software advantageous but is not essential.
- Working in accordance with AS9100 and the Company’s Quality System and ensure procedures are implemented in particular with regards to build standards and ESD requirements.
- The successful applicant must be pro-active, hardworking, enthusiastic and capable of working on their own initiative without continuous supervision and possess a good sense of humour.
- Must also be able to communicate and co-ordinate with others and work as part of a team between departments.
Flexible working hours with a start time between 8am-9am which can be agreed during interview stage.
